The Water/Wastewater Department operates and maintains two wastewater treatment facilities (one NPDES plant and one Land Application system) treating up to 4 million gallons per day of wastewater; four elevated tanks; water wells pumping an average of 1.5 million gallons per day; and 25 lift stations.
Administers the Industrial Pre-treatment Program to monitor industrial wastewater entering the wastewater collection system.
Administers the Watershed Protection Program monitoring the health of the natural streams throughout the city.
